Grizzlies Thank Suneil Karod for Five Seasons of Service

Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Grizzlies Hockey Club announced today that Associate Head Coach and Assistant General Manager Suneil Karod will be departing the organization after five seasons with the club.

Karod joined the Grizzlies in 2021 and played an important role in the development of the organization’s players and hockey operations department throughout his tenure. During his time in Victoria, he helped guide numerous student-athletes to NCAA opportunities while contributing to the continued growth of the Grizzlies program.

“After five seasons with the Grizzlies, I feel the time is right to pursue a new challenge,” said Karod. “I am grateful to the players, staff, billets, volunteers, fans, and everyone who has been part of my journey in Victoria. I have made many lasting relationships and will always appreciate my time with the organization.”

President David Michaud thanked Karod for his contributions to the Grizzlies over the past five years.

“Suneil has dedicated a tremendous amount of time and energy to our organization and has had a positive impact on the players who have come through our program,” said Michaud. “We thank him for his commitment to the Victoria Grizzlies and wish him and his family all the best in their future endeavors.”

The Victoria Grizzlies thank Suneil for his contributions to the organization and wish him continued success moving forward.
